50 years ago, in the south of Brazil, countryside of Santa Catarina, the Community of São Lourenço do Oeste saw the rising of an important business group. With an own mill, it acted in the segments of wheat flour and corn flour, which led to the traditional Libardoni Flour.
The year of 1988 marks a determinant phase with the restructuring of the group, emerging the food industry Nutrisul/Casaredo. In the 90's, with the construction of factories of pastas and cookies, getting into the list of most selling products in the supermarkets of the south of Brazil was just a consequence of the developed work.
With the continuous acceptance of the Casaredo's products in the market, the business has expanded the mix and launched products with higher added value. Nowadays, more than 2 decades later, the Casaredo mix consists of 100 products distributed in about 30 thousands selling points in Brazil, besides the production destined to several countries. A history that depicts the entrepreneurial will and work of the whole Casaredo family.
Meet the new industrial unit of Casaredo
The Casaredo knows the importance of investing in human capital. That's why its new industrial unit will contribute to change the life of many people. From thermal insulation of the walls, to coverage for integration and training environments, everything has been thought to assure the ideal conditions of work and comfort of the employees.
There are 13.000m² of built area and 200.000m² of total area, with natural lighting, filtered airing and preserved forest area, which will generate 270 new direct employments, raising the Casaredo workforce to 600 employees.
With this work the production will duplicate, and the new technologic innovations incorporated to the new industrial area will guarantee more quality to the products that arrive to consumer's table. Therefore, the Casaredo becomes a company able to attend to the requirement of new markets.
